I am a southern Ontario-based artist with over twenty years' experience painting abstract and nature landscapes.

Early watercolour work turned into acrylic painting and mixed media expressions. Recently mosaic portraiture has been included in my practice.

I tell the story of a leaf, a flower, or an expression on a face. Each piece gets its own palette - sometimes a creative reach of within one main colour or opposites only to express a laugh or a doldrum. I take my queue from the variations in nature's colours, how they change in the sunlight and her shadows, how the seasons influence the same point in nature, year over year. I interpret the lay of the land, the hills, the flats, and the shorelines.
